Heather  Walker
Realtor® | Residential Specialist

Heather grew up in northern New Jersey, just outside of Manhattan, but relocated to Loudoun County in December 2012. She went to college at North Carolina State University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. During and after college, she worked as a molecular biologist at the National Institute of Environmental and Health Sciences, in Research Triangle Park, NC. While there, she studied breast cancer and was fortunate to be part of the team that cloned the first breast cancer gene, BRCA1. She moved back to NJ and continued her research career, first in the Neuroscience and Cell Biology department at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and then in the oncology division of Novartis Pharmaceuticals. The drug she worked on at Novartis, Farydak, received FDA approval in 2015. In 2001, she left her research/pharmaceutical career to start a family.

She and her husband along with their three children have spent the last 4+ years exploring all that Northern Virginia has to offer. After her relocation and having gone through the process of buying and selling several houses, she decided that it was time to turn her passion for real estate into a career. She loves helping people in all aspects of real estate, whether that be buying, selling, leasing or investing. She will be with you every step of the way, whether it’s selling your house so you can move on to your next phase of life, finding your next place to call home, increasing your wealth portfolio with real estate, buying your forever home, downsizing to be near the grandkids, or locating that perfect rental property! She is there for all the seasons of your life!
